The Role

As a Account Manager at Vergent, you’ll own day-to-day relationships with a book of strategic clients. You’ll serve as the trusted advisor who aligns our multidisciplinary teams—product managers, designers, engineers, and growth specialists—with client goals, ensuring projects deliver measurable outcomes and open doors for expansion. This role is equal parts relationship management, consultative selling, and project stewardship.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, driving clear communication and swift issue resolution.
  • Understand each client’s business objectives and translate them into actionable scopes, roadmaps, and KPIs.
  • Coordinate internal resources to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget; track progress and surface risks early.
  • Develop quarterly business reviews (QBRs) that showcase results, surface insights, and propose upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Negotiate renewals, expansions, and new statements of work, meeting or exceeding revenue-growth targets for your accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records in HubSpot/Salesforce, forecasting revenue and reporting on account health.
  • Gather client feedback and relay it to product, engineering, and leadership to continuously improve our services.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years managing accounts at a consultancy, digital agency, or B2B SaaS company.
  • Proven track record of growing existing business and hitting expansion quotas.
  • Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle and digital-marketing fundamentals; you can speak fluently with both executives and engineers.
  • Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRMs for pipeline and renewal management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills—you turn complex ideas into compelling stories.
  • Ability to juggle multiple accounts, set priorities, and thrive in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
